I am writing to dissect the problem of drug use in the United States and its relation to recent television advertisements aimed at lowering the consumption of drugs in America. In the past few years, a recent wave of anti-drug and “truth” advertisements has been found across all genres of media. From television, to radio, to the Internet, America’s war on drugs has taken a new approach to educate teenagers and the youth population on the dangers of drug use. The ultimate question is whether or not it works.
